Risks and Considerations

A First Wilshire managed account is not considered a complete investment program. Please consult your investment representative regarding your paticular financial risks and goals.

Past results are no guarantee of future performance. Investing in stocks is risky and can result in the loss of all or part of your principal.

In general, small capitalization stocks are more volatile due to lower trading liquidity and have less financial resources than larger companies. First Wilshire's analysts and portfolio managers must rely to some extent on the integrity of company management, auditors, and the applicable regulators charged with oversight.

Due to the timing of an initial investment and of subsequent additions to a managed account, it is likely that no two accounts will be identical and therefore will not produce exactly the same performance. In addition, due to the low trading volume of smaller capitalization stocks, any single account may be allocated shares ahead of other accounts. The goal of the First Wilshire portfolio managers is to assemble a diversified portfolio. In the case of a stock that is considered 'hot' or otherwise more timely than others on the buy list, the portfolio managers will allocate randomly among accounts.

Please consult our brochure, ADV and your investment representative to fully understand our investment strategy before opening an account. If an investment in a First Wilshire managed account is appropriate, it is strongly recommended that investors maintain their First Wilshire managed account for a minimum of three years. First Wilshire does not want to manage investor's assets for less than three years and will not approve a new managed account if it is known that an investor intends to leave within a shorter amount of time.
